Time Management


Some rough thoughts on time management for the project:

27-SEP-2019 10:00 PM UTC (5:00 PM CDT)     Kick-Off 

10 PM ~ 12 AM (5 PM ~ 7PM)     Get together in Discord to discuss theme, get general ideas organized, and try to all start moving in compatible directions

Current plan for division of labor:

  • Justin aka "Cabbages" -- core game mechanics & initial technical writing (crunch)
  • Josiah & Garret -- world building & initial prose writing (fluff)
  • Jen -- original art assets (art)
  • Laura (if available) -- proofreading & editing on Sunday
  • Nate -- project manager & taking turns wearing all the other hats: fleshing out mechanics & tech writing, writing setting material & fluff writing, tracking down additional (legally usable) art assets, proofreading & compiling everyone else's work.

The rest of Friday night      Get the initial feel of the game down, check in on Discord to keep coordinated, hopefully keep a common direction

Saturday     Hammer out volume of contents.  Lots of ideas for character types, skills & abilities, items & special stuffs.  Lots of ideas for encounters: NPCs, "monsters," dangers, etc.  Fill in details of the game world: who, what, when, where, why, & how.  

Sunday     Complete leftover work from Saturday, polish what we have, proofreading & editing.  Maybe try out a Session Zero & see what it's like to play this creation
